The Gujarat High Court has given a significant verdict in the favors of the candidates in regard to the validity of the Domesail Certificate in the recruitment of ONGC's Class I and II. In this regard, the High Court has rejected the attitude of ONGC, which will benefit hundreds of candidates from Gujarat.

According to the information available, ONGC in the Class 1 and 2 recruitment process of ONGC stated that the last date of applying online on or before 20/2/2019 or the previous Domicile Certificate will be valid and should be uploaded while applying online. The court considered the domicile certificate required, but the ONGC decision regarding the stage of issuing a domicile certificate was erroneous. Hundreds of candidates will benefit from this ruling.
